Check-in, day 20

20 days of low carb, and it’s starting to get comfortable. I want to write about other things but I think I need to get rid of this comfort first.

The reason I started was to avoid surgery, and since I’ve succeeded in remaining low carb the surgery no longer feels imminent. But I also feel no progress, and that will eventually leave me in limbo where I’ll either fall off the wagon – although that’s unlikely really – or just remain stagnant. There’s a dietitian appointment coming up, but that isn’t really motivating me. Nothing is, I have a reason not to be unhealthy, now I need a reason add effort, and get to a goal.

I’m thinking the keto subreddit is a good place to start.
